3-2 was a better pitch.

Look where Scivicque catches each. 3-2 was a pretty good pitch. Probably a little outside but you can't risk that on 3-2. You can tell the batter was praying to be walked with how quickly he went to throw his bat.

It was the right call it was a strike. There was nothing more to it than that. We were out at third, should be botching about that one if you just gotta cry

Using Tony as reference, the 3-2 pitch was noticeably lower and more inside. If it didn't catch plate, it was too close to not swing.

Batter's don't fly out of the box toward 1st when they are confident it was a ball. They do that to try and affect the umpire's call. He knew he was fricked.
