The only thing I know about Grenada is the cops always nabbed me on I-55 while I was passing by Grenada.

I mean, I made trips to Philly, but they usually consisted of this conversation on a Tuesday night

Sitting in living room with roomates watching reruns of Chapelle Show

"You going to your 8 AM?"
"No, no quiz or anything. Wanna go out?"
"Nah nobody will be out. Let's just go to Philly for the night"

Drive to Philly, stay until 6 AM, drive back, sleep all day, regret decision.

If you were speaking about facts, it would be a lot tougher to argue my point. Point still stands.

If you've been to Grenada, you've been to Oxford. The only difference is the large, man-made body of water to the northwest of Oxford.

No seriously, point out the flaws in my statements as they pertain to your talking points.

I don't know if you guys knew this but West Point has a giant Mossy Oak store.

Starkville moves to #1.

Well, you both had voters on the panel.

Yeah but in truth you won't find a media poll that isn't somewhat similar because so much of the sports media/reporters that cover the South East Region are centered in Nashville and Knoxville because both cities are very media friendly (for example, Knoxville is HQ to HGTV, the Cooking Channel etc. and several other cable channels either have an office here or are a sister network) and both make it very easy to travel to pretty much anywhere else in the South East by car or plane.

West Point used to have a pretty cool cigar / harder to find beer place. (may still be there)

Well cool for a town that size.

I'll even give you a head start and say I think I might be wrong about Oxford now being a larger town.

I only drove through West Point on my way to Starkville and it always made me think I was a few hundred miles from the gates of hell. What an awful place.

I would have Nashville #1 and Knoxville in top 4 or 5. BR, while I like it, is not top 5.

Points about the panel and their mention of nothing to do in Starkville. Oxford or Starkville, you do the same thing when in either town. For them to place Oxford that far apart from Starkville- with Starkville on the botton; Oxford better damn well have a beach, or be nestled in the Smokey Mountains somewhere. Do you understand there points?

You are describing most towns in MS.

Look RD, Starkville is fine. Seriously, it is. It isn't some commuter school with nowhere to go. It has the little downtown district, the town revolves around State, it isn't some ghetto hellhole. Could be a lot worse.

But you guys gotta stop trying to compare it to Oxford. Really, stop.
