This is the answer & should be the answer.

No one will argue that the SEC has better teams or better game-day experiences. When you don't play games that matter in January, you might as well get the maximum enjoyment out of your games in October & November.

Mizzou & A&M combined for one national title in football, in the 1930s. They combined for one conference title in the Big 12, the better part of two decades ago. These aren't programs that are concerned about walking into a more difficult path to a national title, because they will never be in the mix for national titles, be it in the Big 12 or SEC.

Lubbock, Waco....these are terrible places to visit. Both Mizzou and A&M have done right by their fanbases by increasing their enjoyment of the regular season.
