Mauk is Mauk. I dont think he's going to regress or improve this season. whqt you see is what you get.
Agree completely.

Berks left a sour taste in my mouth in '12 with that flat footed throwing motion and seemingly zero capability to know what to do when the pocket collapses on him.
He threw like 4 balls. So idk. To me he looks like a guy who should have gotten another chance after '12. Huge arm. Big body. Has been totally written off, and I think that's a shame.

Printz, considering he was going against the #1 defense with nothing but backups played decent I thought.
He did.
I think he's a quarterbacks quarterback. He really plays and thinks the game well and in a very traditional way.
But, idk, there seems to be some limitations to what he can do. Obviously not a guy that can run, and missing that zip on the ball.

Ive always felt since the moment he stepped on campus that EP was the most natural thrower of the group. He has things that cannot be taught. But unless there is an injury I never see him starting a game for Mizzou. I think it goes straight from MM to DL.

Wish we could fuse Printz's mind with Mauk's electric running and throwing.

EP has the size as well. He's over 6 foot. MM is 5'10 on a good day I don't care what he is listed at.

Printz has the prototype, but doesn't deliver in performing. He is a James Franklin, except with happy feet. Has no zip on the ball, which leads to interceptions, as we have seen ALL Spring.
Zanders should switch positions. He has to understand that he will never see a meaningful snap in a Mizzou uniform at QB.
Berk has been an absolute trooper. 2012 as a freshman, got thrown into the WORST line situation of all time and did about how we would expect. But, kid is a hammer, and showed he has the potential. He didn't have the accuracy back then, but he still has a cannon for an arm. I hope the coaches at least use him in Goalline situations.

Well, let's just hope it's all meaningless and Mauk doesn't get hurt. If that's the case I'm sure it will flow from Mauk the next 2 seasons to Lock for 3 seasons.

Hopefully with Lock getting a series a half as a RSF if Mauk doesn't improve.

Even if he does improve, that is just a good plan in general. Gets backup real snaps, in case of injury, or for the next season.

Just because he threw some bad passes that landed at the receiver's feet doesn't mean he has a bad arm. That's an accuracy thing. You are stupid to think Berk doesn't have a big arm. The guy has a cannon.
