Had 7,000 tickets sold for the game (6,905) despite the bad season and the poor weather. That's 84% of the total 8,242 capacity. Had a decent crowd to start the game despite the weather, but when we took out our starting pitcher, and our bullpen opened the floodgates and Vandy jumped out with 5 runs, the crowd started leaving. They know how bad our hitting has been during the collapse, and that we'd have little to no chance of regaining the lead.

I think by the time it was 8-0 Vandy there were hardly anyone left that didn't have to be there...

On a good-weather day with the team playing well, the balance of the 1.3K+ available seats would've been snapped up by walk-in traffic, and we'd be looking at another full house like we typically do. But can't blame the fans with the product we're now putting on the diamond. It's pretty sad right now.....
