Also, there's a new Brewery in Midtown (on Mill St. a few blocks behind Millsaps / CS's) called Lucky Town Brewing. Every 2nd Saturday (I think)they have live music and food trucks to go along with their brewery tours. It's a good time for $10 bucks.

Don't tease me
ETA: I think I've heard some folks in Jackson talk about Lucky Town. Sounds like a good time. Will check out all the drinking places.

Lakeland all depends on which way your driving in the Mornings and night. If you are driving away from UMMC down Lakeland in the morning it's not so bad. If you're driving towards UMMC in the morning you're going to have a bad time. Vice versa at night.

Well I would be driving the wrong way at the wrong time so I'm probably not going to live in flowood. Hopefully I can find a place to live in fondren or ridgeland

So areas to avoid=west of 55
Got it, thanks. As long as I'm not stabbed or shot when in jackson I'll be cool with it

It also depends on how far down Lakeland you are. It goes from 3 lanes to 2 right after where you turn to go to the airport and traffic gets backed up there. If you can find a place between 55 and that bottleneck traffic usually isn't too bad.

Yeah, it is. We went down for a visit about a month ago and I was impressed.
What did you do in Jackson?

I'm pretty open minded about it, and haha no that is not my motto. I would love to do orthopedics, but I don't think I would like the hours. I've thought about being an infertility doctor. Seems like it would be a very rewarding profession

I would look in Fondren before Belhaven. An lady was shot a few months ago picking up her trash can. Belhaven area is also having lots off water issues now.

That looks terrible. I've always heard about how bad the infrastructure in Jackson is.
