a deep ball threat and someone who can go through their progressions would be great. he zero's in on wide open tight ends all day long. i'm not the only smo who knows he can't read his progressions well. he gets rattled, obviously. it's there to see. i have had the thought before, midseason, that he obviously knows his limits.
why would you not want him to be better?

it's also obvious chaney wanted to pass more and couldn't get it out of allen. he probably cost chaney his job. not that i care about chaney so much.

UT fans wouldn't because they know that Kyle Allen would get killed behind UT's OL. UT has to have a mobile qb, just to stay alive right now.
Meh. Kyle Allen is plenty mobile. He'd do fine behind UT's line, and his arm talent more than overcomes the marginal difference in mobility.

That we have on this team, right now, if the season started tomorrow or sept 15? nobody.

Your posts are giving me diabetes.

So Brandon Allen is elite to you?
Posted on 4/10/15 at 2:00 pm to hogNsinceReagan
or is that only a problem after you get diabetes?

Well what a god damn pickle that is...
I expect Allen will go 28-9 with a little better completion percentage. We hardly used backs under Chaney, but should see an increase under Enos. Chaney was also a fan of long deep sideline routes, as well as Go-Routes with no WR that could get separation.
I also expect a little better technique from a position coach that actually stepped foot on the field.
I expect to see your prediction around 6-6

What the frick is wrong with you? I'm all for a good troll but shite son...
I don't think you would find the biggest sunshine pumper in the world to say he's elite.

want to post his TD run against WV?

i'm sure you do. if someone else wanted my prediction they could have it.
your numbers look optimistic but it sounds good to me. I hope enos is a fan of go-routes and deep down the sideline too because it's fun to watch. it's a shame when the receivers did get seperation ol BA was bombin it over their heads.

there were bigger reasons why chaney lost his job imo
but BA not being able to complete throws that chaney wanted to maximize that aspect of chaney's offense, certainly didn't help chaney in the eyes of the fans. of course BA's receivers didn't exactly help him out many times either. chaney's downfall was not being able to better utilize the talent we currently have on the team.

I come to this site on my xbox all the time and read this stuff. it's pretty funny usually. i can't type hardly cuz it takes forever on the box. funny one liners is me, for people to laugh at. i get on a computer one day and say what i'm thinking and i get attacked by hog fans. it's kinda bitter sweet. lol. Brandon Allen is not very good and my frustration during the season mostly landed on him so today was easy. i do in fact, believe it or not, remember complimenting his progression from 2 years ago but wasn't enough to win, say, 9 games. if he continues to improve we could win 9 this year.

You mean his lone rushing TD? I would if I could find it.
I also can't find a single rush of Dobbs' 166 rushing yards against South Carolina or his 91 against Vanderbilt (which were his two best rushing games).
Looking at stats...Allen's longest run from scrimmage is 14 yards. Dobbs has only had one game where he didn't have a carry longer than that.
