I'd venture to say that 8 of those TDs was the running game breaking down the defense and finally beating on play action or something.
and then a wide open throw to the TE near the sideline for easy money. like i said 3 pages ago.

Brandon Allen isn't the worst QB in the conference, but he is a fairly middle of the road QB. He has a tendency to clinch up in tight games and over throw his receivers and that is a tendency he hasn't been able to shake yet. He also has not improved greatly on his ability to go through his progression and find the second or third option to throw too.
Is he much better at being a game manager who knows when to throw the ball into the cheap seats to avoid a potential INT or sack? Yes, he has really improved on that. That isn't a back handed compliment either, a lot of QBs, pro or college, would do well to develop that skill.
He is what he is, a fairly solid, if uninspired QB. Could he improve lights out under our new OC? Certainly he could. We won't know until the season starts. Its not the end of the world if he is just an average QB, with our scheme having a Ryan Mallet or Matt Jones under center is a luxury, not a necessity.

And he missed that easy money WAY more than he should have. It was embarrassing.

Prescott is the only returning SEC QB I'd take over Dobbs.

1. Dak Prescott - Mississippi State
His numbers speak for themselves. Far and away the best returning QB in the SEC. State lost pretty much their whole team, but they'll make a bowl due to Dak's play alone.
2. Brandon Allen - Arkansas
5th year senior, loads of experience, and a giant O line that only lost one starter. He's not the physical specimen that Dak is, but he's a better decision maker and doesn't throw as many interceptions.
3. Kyle Allen - Texas A&M
Any quarterback can thrive in a Sumlin offense, but questions on the O line keep Kyle Allen from ranking higher. A&M looks to take a small step back offensively this year because Allen will be running for his life.
4. Maty Mauk - Mizzou
If Mauk continues to abuse Adderall, his play will continue to be erratic and inconsistent. If he can get clean, I have high hopes for him. He looked great in 2013 before he started using.
All of your QBs have eyebrows...list is not valid.

Dobbs has never taken a snap vs Florida...so he is 0-0...unless you think he wasn't cheering hard enough on the sideline.
Fear the skinbrows.

He would've gotten bowl game swag in 2013 if y'all had gone to one.

I'd take Kyle Allen over Dobbs. I think most non-UT fans would as well.

There wasn't much bowl game swag in Knoxville or Gainesville after that '13 season...huh?

UT fans wouldn't because they know that Kyle Allen would get killed behind UT's OL. UT has to have a mobile qb, just to stay alive right now.

What does that have to do though with the fact that Dobbs is 0-2 overall against the Gates?

Just saying that, if he had been on the sidelines for the Gators instead of the Vols...he would have just as much bowl swag.

So why would you want to play someone other than B Allen?
