I don't see the front 7 on LSU's defense being that great at all. Got abused by Auburn, State, and Notre Dame last year. Lost their starting defensive ends and best linebacker.

Did well against Ole Miss and A&M because those teams couldn't run the ball anyway. Bama's offense struggled in almost all of their true road games last year

I could see SC and Auburn being the two most improved defenses this year. Two very good defensive hires. A&M should also improve but will still be bottom half of the west. On paper Alabama should be number one in the west and uga one in the east.

LSU's DTs were all freshman and sophomores in 2014. The fact they finished in the top half of the conference in rushing D is actaully an accomplishment.
