I have to admit I was happy to see that. Please don't do the same list for the Elite 8.

Kentucky, Florida and Tennessee have been the three programs consistently carrying the SEC torch for the conference in basketball in the recent past.

It's time to close the book on basketball, as much as I like it. We've done this thread 10 times already, and we all understand Kentucky and Florida have been a notch above the rest

Kentucky
Florida

LSU
Tennessee
Mizzou
Vanderbilt
Alabama
arkansas
I dont care enough to rank the rest, and I don't think the fans of those schools care either

It may not be a ranking, but Mizzou is about where it should be, around 4th.

Since 1995 Mississippi State has had

2 sweet 16s
1 Final Four
8 tourney appearances
3 SEC tournament championships
1 SEC overall championship

Not doing this for every school, but MSU should be somewhere in the top 7 overall for this timeframe.

frick frick frick syracuse. Tubby had a great squad that year and we beat the #1 seed (can't remember who) before losing in OT on a last second shot. Dammit.

Also, I will contend forever that our 2003 team that douche adams pulled completely out of all postseason play was a final 4 caliber team. That was a GREAT basketball team, and they never even got a shot. That was the day the entire team showed up on Adams' lawn and had to be run off by the police.
