0 college coaching experience

I don't get this critique. Isn't that like doubting Greg Louganis' ability to do a cannonball or if Lance Armstrong can ride a tricycle? We're not talking Lawrence Frank, who never even made his HS team. AJ went through the recruiting process as a player and as a parent. Certainly those experiences will aide him in recruiting. AJ won't be a stranger to the politics of campus life or dealing with prima donna antics. What really does it matter if his lowest level of coaching is significantly higher than SEC basketball?

Why don't you get it? Are successful high school coaches successful in college? Are successful college coaches successful in the NBA?

It's not a good predictor of success (see current coach at Mizzou).
