Not so sure. Watch those games in 80 and 81 and Belue was just so effecient. With his legs and he could complete passes and pick up first downs. Yea, it helped to have Hershel for everybody to key on but Buck was a football player that just moved the sticks. Great athlete. If I recall he was a Toronto Blue Jay draft pick for baseball.
Now Johnny Lastinger, Quincy Carter. They were ovverrated but make no mistake, UGA doesnt win the 80 title without Benjamin Franklin Belue directing that offense.
AND...he's one helluva radio host
