Not really, I was just responding to, you know, the OP:

You constantly kept referring "the kids" in here. don't think you weren't only talking about OP

But the funny part is you telling people over 35 to get over themselves in a thread

No, I'm telling people who think just because they're a few decades younger than you doesn't make them any less informed on the subject. I've already gotten in a debate over this with someone younger than me. It just so happens it's the old guys crying BUT BUT WHY CANT I SAY IT??? The wounds from the whole SAE debacle seem to be very fresh still. That's a whole different can of worms, but I was against the students' expulsion. I'm just saying that because I know how easily posters on this site assume because you're on one side of these type of debates, you're consistent with that side every time these big race debates pop back up. I'm not running an agenda to get the n word used regularly

quote:

So you don't even care if the Jewish guy was offended by being called a n*****? You think that's irrelevant?

Would you seriously be offended if someone called you that word? A word that can just as easily be turned on its head and used in a complementary context? The equivalent of words such a man, dude, guy, etc.? The word is derogatory, sure. But it's one of those rare terms where context is everything.

"frick that guy" "frick that n****"
"That guy played awesome tonight" "That ***** played awesome tonight"

As soon as you guys get that black people use that word just as you and I would use guy, maybe you'll understand why some of us don't think it's racist. Is it fair that they can see it freely and we can't? Maybe not. I have no use to say the word. I don't understand why old white guys are crying because they can't say it. It'd look trashy as hell but more power to them. But nothing about this is racist.

Bro you aren't going to change anyone's mind. I realized this earlier and decided to stop responding.
