I'm not counting HS. I am counting big boy football at Auburn University. Let's see what he does this year and then continue the discussion.

You watch and be ready to tell me I was right.

Find me two more plays where he did that. Just two. That shouldn't be hard.
1 9:30 mark. Very similar to the LSU run. Cant believe you forgot this play honestly
2 3:03 mark.

That's just from memory w/out going back & researching his long runs.

I don't care if he does it Cam style or J-Cam style as long as he has us scoring.

FWIW Gus did say JJ was a lot like Cam in his downhill running ability.

JJ is probably your more average type of runner. He has great speed but I don't think he has the vision as a runner that Newton had. Very few do. What made Cam so special was his size and elusiveness. I don't think there has ever been or ever will be a QB that moves around as well as him all while being 6'5 250 lbs.

No, I don't think anyone believes that at all. It is just a discussion. I am hopeful JJ can have a couple of runs here and there but he doesn't possess the special running ability of Cam. I think you're reading too much into some posts. Just how many lures have you built in the last two months? Does it involve glue?

I wonder if it bothers anybody that Jeremy Johnson has the same initials as Jay Jacobs?

Coincidence?

The one thing I will always remember Cam for is that when it was 3rd and 5 or less, there was no stopping him. He'd just run then stretch to get the yardage. Money every time.

I do find that irritating when somebody refers to Johnson as "JJ" because I immediately envision our goofball AD.

Yes, very slack, but last I heard from him he and the missus had a new house and she was forcing him into manual labor round the new adobe.

I remedy this by calling Jeremy Johnson "JJ" and Jay Jacobs "chode choker".
