I looked it up, and it was actually 40 something ounces. Still enough to fit neatly in one of those purple felt Crown Royal bags though……How bout that????

I don’t know. But, you can stretch an ounce of gold into a wire that would reach atlanta from Athens. And you could fit all the gold ever discovered in history neatly inside the swimming pool at the Ramsey Center.

But, keep in mind how hard it is to mine for gold. How much sweat it takes and how much dirt has to be poured through just to find one flake………….

Which, of course, makes it the perfect “money“ because it’s scarce and malleable, transportable, and unable to be counterfeited, etc……..and because your ancestors might of wanted to trade wheat to my ancestors but my ancestors only had fish and your ancestors didn‘t want fish….……..so there needed to be some other common medium of exchange.

Long story short…………Even though it would seem like gold was put here to be used as "money", our rulers don't allow us to use Gold for money anymore and there's a reason for that. Which is pure Evil. And hidden in broad daylight, but people are stupid. Goodnight.
