If Jerry does it, it'll be for the attention it brings to the cowboys, and not because he thinks he has a future with JM under center. With the track record that Manziel carries, I highly doubt he will succeed being back close to the people he parties with (aka uncle Nate and his other HS buddy).

Its time to write Manziel off guys. He was good for A&M and has enough money to live off of, so not an entirely bad career.

What is crazy is if he had stayed for all of his eligibility He would be coming up on his senior year. Kinda glad he didn't but also would've like to see what he could have done

I'm not writing him off yet. Far from it. But he's gotta get his shite together. As much flack as it got at the time, that 2013 SI article seems to have been spot on.

No dammit, I want him to get cleaned up so he can come recruit for us.

The real sad thing is faced with stopping that party at A&M he and his handlers thought just rolling to the NFL was easier than cleaning up the act. They didn't get that the NFL has an even lower tolerance than the NCAA.

I really hope this is not true, but I have a sneaking suspicion that we'll be seeing many Ags, mainly on Texags, suffering from the whorn's VY syndrome over the course of the next few years.

The only positive for JFF is that I don't think Coach Pettine has the same power that Jeff Fisher does over NFL G.M.'s and coaches.
