So you're saying the PD just arrested him based on her story? They didn't look for physical evidence when they made the arrest?

I'm saying that police arrest on improbable cause all the time.
I will agree with you that there are a lot of things that don't add up though.

I've never been arrested for such, but it's always been my understanding that her claiming it was all that was needed.
