I have never been more crushed in the sports world in my life than the moment Cruz missed that fly.
Then JHam gave me hope and then Frese crushed hope forever.
I had my dad ready to call and celebrate with as he had taken me to dozens of games growing up in the Ryan years and made me listen to them on the radio for years. I sat there with his number queued up and stared at the screen for about 5 minutes in broken dreams.

The Rangers winning the same year as the Mavs was too good to be true.
I'm indifferent to all baseball now, even though I was there for opening day of The Ballpark in Arlington . (Stadium is of legal age this year)

Which one of you SoBs up voted that?
You probably "like" it when somebody posts about a death in the family on Facebook.

I (probably poor use of) up voted your post because it played out identically for me. I sat alone in the dark unable to figure out what I'd just seen and how it happened. I was heartbroken. Still am.
It wasn't an up vote that it happened. It was paying respects for your loss.
