I think part of that is just how Marshall handles his process. I think most ADs who meet with him think they have it all moving in their direction. Our AD was positive that he'd hired him last year. Having said that, I think Bama has a shot. Good luck.

Trust me, I don't think it is a done deal. I just like our chances at the moment. From what I understand, we are willing to more than triple his salary and give him the same control over the basketball program that we gave Saban over the football program. Those are some pretty good incentives.

But yeah, it isn't a done deal by any stretch of the imagination until we get him back to Tuscaloosa.

Biggest difference is I don't think we had any where near the commitment to spending the money like Bama does. It's pretty useless for your AD to meet with him with only pocket change.
