Nope. There are a lot of New Orleans people that don't like LSU, but it's not because they're die hard saints fans and can only choose one, it's because they like to be contrarian douche bags and root agains them.

It depends on exactly what you are talking about. In terms of local coverage and exposure, it would only make sense that if there were no Rams or Cardinals to talk about, the local media would cover more of Mizzou football and baseball. If there were no Rams or Cardinals games to go to, there would probably be a few more people that would go to Mizzou football and baseball games.

Having said that, there is no reason why Mizzou football and baseball and basketball can't be fully supported despite the Rams/Chiefs/Cards/Royals. What needs to be done better for Mizzou is getting the local populous and students to show up. They're the ones that will carry attendance on week day games. Not people from KC and STL. Especially true in baseball.
