That's a good question, but hard to quantify financially since a large chunk of their tickets are given out to sponsors and various buisnesses free of charge. Hell, I think the City of Birmingham gets over 1,000 tickets for free every year or some such number.

They actually buy those tickets, but they do give them out for free. I did not realize until someone posted on here the reason Alabama basketball games looked kind of empty was because people buy them for the Tide Pride points and often cannot or do not want to go to the games, esp during the week. I guess my point there is a purchased ticket is a purchased ticket.. although it does not look good for optics.
