I know Im an old fart, but I like music covering a large range of time periods. However, when I have my grandchildren (4&7) in the car, I tend to put on 60's music on SiriusXM.

1. The music tends to have a melody and words that are calming.

2. Guaranteed no hard language.

3. You can generally sing to it and you wouldnt care if your kid repeated the words (most of the time.)

Much of music from 90's or later, and almost all hip hop /rap music fails that test.
