Tbird, I think you are right in most cases, but in extreme cases, I think a link can be found between certain types of behavior and certain types of music.

I remember that My Dad loved old country. Hank sr., Soul,and Gospel,Bluegrass, Beatles..but he thought Jim Croce was hippy music. ...Go figure..

Does anybody know what type of music that Charles Whitman listened to?

I think we have to be careful with correlation/causation when it comes to even that, though.

Similar to how some would blame violent video games for violent behavior irl.
