I said top 3 in the conference, which would not be a bubble team.
It's not impossible. LSU has 2-3 possible 1 and done caliber players coming in next year that would both be in the NBA next year if they could be.
Not to mention will be much deeper at the guard position. If Mickey somehow stays, LSU will be a preseason top 15 team next year.
And Jones being a bad coach is a fallacy. He may have not substituted at times when some of us wish he would, but LSU lacked depth and he didn't trust some of the other bigs.

No, you said a shot at top 3.
And no, you have 1 potential one and done. Blakeney is a 2-3 year player, and would not be going pro without college first. Kid is a composite 18 overall player, that is worse than Portis and he'll be staying for his JR year (although he doesn't need to draft stock wise, would still be 2 years).
Johnny Jones isn't Calipari either, not even close. But a Sweet 16 ceiling would be reasonable.

The committee didn't have us on the bubble as you could tell from our seeding
