No question that Tim leaving is less than positive.
But most believe that he came pretty close to leaving last year after Haith outran the gallows to Tulsa, so this was a borrowed year regardless.
So, to address the point of the OP, Mizzou basketball is not in a free fall. It is certainly experiencing a low point, but there have been other low points and none have them have spelled the end of western civilization.
You need to understand the history of the program and the culture of the school to get that. I don't fault you for being ignorant on matters of Mizzou. I know absolutely nothing about Auburn.

He would be a great hire for any of these new coaches. Well for anyone for that matter.
