So how long do we give Sumlin, since his teams have actually regressed the last 2 years?

I just now saw that a similar point was brought up in another thread but this seems to be the official fire Kennedy thread so I'll leave it here.

It would be applicable if Sumlin didn't fire the coaches responsible for the regression. (Anderson and Snyder)

It is easy to regress when your the #5 team in the nation. Kennedy is still trying to crack the top 68.

Sumlin has improved recruiting and completely revamped our image into a nationally relevant team. Let's face it, we haven't mattered this much since the 90's. I'd give Sumlin 2 more solid years since he has shown what he can do with a decent defense (year 1). It'll take time, but I think our future looks bright.

Kennedy on the other hand... that fool. He took a tournament team and has kept it out of the tournament in a league that is considered weak. I don't expect to beat Kentucky, but I do expect a damn tournament bid. He has finally started recruiting well, but that doesn't matter since he can only coach Kennedy Specials
