Well if you did in fact read it, then I guess it's more of a reading comprehension/interpretation problem. That's cool, it happens. Taking part of a post out of context isn't really fair though. Fact remains the poster pretty clearly wasn't saying that Kentucky needs to be worried about Alabama basketball.

For better or worse, Auburn and Alabama sharing the same state means each program is always going to have an eye on and a vested interest in the other. That's just the way it is and always has been. Auburn fans on here have specifically stated that they wanted Alabama to retain Grant because they felt like Pearl would eventually own him. By the same token, many would rather not see Alabama make a good hire now. Pretty easy to understand. Alabama fans probably didn't want AU to get Pearl. LSU fans probably didn't want Alabama to get Saban. Michigan fans probably didn't want OSU to hire Meyer. OSU fans probably didn't want Michigan to get Harbaugh, etc, etc.
