well then who is 'they'?

because if he was talking about someone else, it sure didn't sound like it

Will it happen overnight and we turn into Kentucky? No. But they should be worried.

to say anyone should be worried about bama basketball is absurd. Plenty of schools put a ton of money into their basketball programs and will never see the type of success bama football has.

Again, you have admitted you haven't read the thread (and I don't blame you) but maybe you could at least read the singular post you are commenting on (would help serve your purpose of improving discourse in this forum if people would at least do that). Seemed pretty clear the poster was talking about the Auburn fans acting a fool in this thread. The first sentence in the post says as much.

Which was my point dummy....Bama's football sucess goes back to the leather helmut days....Bama basketball, while decent, isn't going to achiecve that overnight.

Our AD generates more cash than anyone besides Texas. Bama has signaled its intent to try and take its basketball program to another level by throwing out some serious money for the right guy. Yet Bama haters like you immediately troll the thread saying we have no shot and it will never happen when in reality everything is in place for success. Or rather when it looks like that their might be some interest on Marshall's side, the narrative switches to Marshall is over rated and we are over paying.
