Versus the field. Friend wants to take the field while I take Kentucky. Odds wise in a normal year this sounds awful, but can Kentucky actually provide the true 50% odds to win? Eye test and my gut says yes.

I wouldn't call it safe, but I'd take Kentucky

Remember the undefeated season of the running rebels?

To those who lost money taking them over the field, I'm sure they remember.

I would take Kentucky. I just can't see anyone beating them

Totally safe. Bet you're entire life savings and take out a loan to bet more. Thats what Brian Boitano would do.

Read that back to yourself and say to yourself; "ok - they call it gambling for a reason."

In any other year I'd take the field. It only takes one slightly off night.

Buy KY is so deep they can lose players, swap out cold players, the nonstarters push the starters. I'd take KY.

No, UK is +120: bet $100 and win $120. If you do a 50:50 bet with a friend, you're giving up odds.

I don't like how a possible game with Wisconsin looks for them. Not talking shite on KY, but every game they win will build more pressure. There's never been a bigger target on a team in college basketball. Plus, I think Wisconsin is gonna present some matchup problems for them.

Yes. All bets on college sports favorites are safe.

Vegasinsider shows the average from the books is 1:1 right now. Looks like that is dead on

Last I checked UK was -110 to win the tourney so yes, it's pretty much 50/50.

Advanced stats estimate that UK has about a 40% chance of winning it all. That seems about right to me.

I'd take the field.

I got a someone to take 4 teams vs Kentucky. He picked Wisconsin, Arizona, Virginia, and Duke. If none of those win it is a push.

Good value for me I think.
