Things to do in Clemson: hot chicks.
Things to do in Knoxville: get accosted by bums
They both have lake/river for boating / aquatic activities.
I've been to both places for games. I thought Neyland was very impressive. However, Knoxville is ghetto as frick. I vastly prefer Clemson's small town atmosphere, campus and game day. They tailgate better than Ole Miss. frick the tiny Grove and all its rules.

Tennessee also has more of those.
