The SEC is going to be stacked next season, so there's no way State would make the tournament

I honestly don't understand how you come to that conclusion.

Kentucky is Kentucky. You have to imagine Florida will make its way back to the top. Other than that, you have Arkansas which is anybody's guess at the beginning of each season. LSU has plenty of talent, but it's not like y'all have had any lack of talent for several years now. Will UGA have another good year? Maybe?

I just don't see the SEC as a conference where it is impossible to make a big jump.

Texas A&M is getting the #2 recruiting class and most of its starters returning
auburn is bringing in a top 15 class
Kennedy always finds underrated talent along with a strong nucleus coming back
Tennessee is very well coached
South Carolina is getting most of its team back and a top 25 class
Vanderbilt is getting most of its starters back with a top recruiting class
alabama has good talent and could make a splash hire
Mark Fox always has UGA playing good basketball, regardless of the talent level

Arkansas will be top 25
Florida is loaded
Kentucky will be Kentucky
LSU is getting most of its team back along with a top 5 class. please spare me the "no shortage of talent", as LSU was 6-deep TOPS

The SEC will have 4 top 25 teams. A&M and Vanderbilt will at worst be bubble teams. Then you have Ole Miss and Georgia, who always seem to maximize their talent. Mississippi State is not going to the NCAA tournament, even if State somehow manages to land Newman
