This. CM USED to be a good basketball coach. I love him to death and thank him for his contribution to Bama hoops. But need I remind everyone, he also recommended Grant and stood behind him to the bitter end, saying he should be given another year as recently as two weeks ago. ENOUGH!! GTFO of the room and let us conduct a search without his out of touch meddling. Hire a search firm if necessary. But don't you think we have enough alums with some basketball sense to make some recommendations? TR Dunn, Robert Horry, Jim Farmer, Gottfried, Wimp Sanderson, and on and on. Jesus, you'd think CM Newton was James Naismith and Red Auerbach and Adolph Rupp all rolled into one.
