There isn't one single knock on Gurley relating to how he plays on teh field. The one thing that keeps coming up is "he couldnt' stay healthy. Chubb will have better numbers because he'll play more games. Etc".
I think it's crazy to assume that Chubb will never miss any time due to injuries and therefore put up better numbers. The reality of the situation is that he will probably miss a game or two at some point, players tend to get injured, especially running backs. I also don't understand why it is so hard to appreciate both players for the talents that they are. I have noticed that since Gurley was initially suspended people tried to knock on him in order to validate Chubb which is crazy because Chubb is a damn good player and doesn't need to be propped up. It's kind of weird how a lot of people were quick to adopt the "out with the old" mantra even when Gurley was still on the team.

He missed a game last year due to injury. And still put up better numbers than healthy Gurley did in 2012.

Doesn't Gurley fall under the same category? Gurley is a great player. I don't think anyone was being negative about him.

Unfortunately Gurley was suspended for part of the season then injured for the rest of it...so why wouldn't fans look to the future? Especially when it's Chubb?
