I see us finishing first in the West for several reasons. Mainly because of an improved defense. The defensive line will be able to apply pressure. Also the promising linebacker Hilliard who was injured in the SC game last year will be back.

That coupled with what should be a first team SEC year from Allen, we will be hard to stop.

I see our improved defense giving our offense 2-3 extra possessions per game. Our high powered offense will use this and wear opposing defenses out before halftime.

Not with those DBs. The reason your CBs have been playing off the ball is because they can't press and stay with their man. By the time the DL gets through, the QB will have already released the ball.

One decent DE does not a defensive line make.

Write that down.

The aggies' defense was worst in the west by a good margin last year. They gave up way more points than anyone else. They were the worst team against the run and Bama, Arky, Auburn, LSU, and Miss State predominantly run the ball.

I think their offense will be plenty good, but their defense is going to get worn out as the season progresses.

Aggie looks like a bottom 3 SEC west team to me overall. Most people would at least have Auburn and Bama ahead of them. I expect Miss State to fall this year, but think Arky and LSU improve. Ole Miss could be right in the mix with good qb play.

Auburn
Bama
LSU
Ole Miss
Arky
A&M
Miss State

I don't expect anyone to run away with the division. I think 6 wins (SEC wins) will do it and I believe there will be a couple of 4 and 5 win teams from the west. Only 1 team fails to reach 4 wins in the West. The East will get dominated even more so when the West finally deals with Mizzou appropriately.
