SEC Deserves How Many Teams?

I'm gonna go ahead and say there are only 4 Teams in at the moment. Maybe another team can play its way in but LSU and Texas A&M still got work.
Kentucky RPI 1 SOS 30
Arkansas RPI 17 SOS 65
Georgia RPI 35 SOS 26 (Needs to win Saturday)
Ole Miss RPI 42 SOS 39 (Needs to win Saturday)
Texas A&M and LSU will have to play their way in from this point forward. Both need to win this weekend and win at least 1 game in the SEC Tournament to have a chance. Both teams have some glaring flaws when the committee reviews the resume.
Texas AM RPI 48 SOS 89 (Zero RPI Top 50 wins except LSU, 0-6 vs other 1-50 RPI Teams on schedule)
LSU RPI 46 SOS 94 ( 3 Losses to RPI Schools 150 plus 100-150 RPI Tennessee)
Kentucky RPI 1 SOS 30
Arkansas RPI 17 SOS 65
Georgia RPI 35 SOS 26 (Needs to win Saturday)
Ole Miss RPI 42 SOS 39 (Needs to win Saturday)

Would love to see six make the dance, but would probably settle for five this year. With five or six or even seven more making the NIT.

Tennessee's RPI is at 91 after today's win.

Still, Tennessee's 91 RPI is terrible and nothing to brag about.
LSU's RPI is in the 50's. What a joke!?!?

You think it should be higher or lower?

I agree. Unless LSU pulls off the upset in Fayetteville, they're history and I just don't see A&M, with their losses against the better teams, being selected. I wish for 6 but doubt that it's possible.

A&M may make it into the play-in game in Dayton.

For a team picked 13th in the conference preseason a 91 RPI right now isn't all that terrible.
Win Saturday and a game in the SEC Tourney and I think we will make the NIT!

LSU & A&M might wind up in a play in game against eachother.

You have no clue how the tournament works if you think 2 schools from the same conference will play each other i. Dayton.

Bragging? I was just letting you know since it has an impact on LSU's resume.

No. Beating Arkansas on the road gets LSU in no matter what happens in the tournament.

Maybe so, it's the inconsistency down the stretch that's got people nervous. If we beat Arkansas but lost to Auburn in the SEC Tourney then you think we in? I don't think you can lose to Tennessee and lose to another > 150 RPI school again. You just can't if you are on the bubble.

It makes me feel better about the loss last night when I realize our program could be as bad of a shite show as Bama's is
