Also, we have too many blacks to have to most conservatives per capita, unless mississippi is still operating under the 3/5ths compromise, which wouldn't be entirely surprising

It's believable if you look at election results in MS and how the GOP wins the state by double digits despite having a black population of 35-38%. So pretty much 90% of whites in MS are conservative/republican voters.
Think about it, how many white liberals in MS do you know? I can think of maybe 3.
