How will the 2014 season be remembered by Ole Miss fans?

The year they started 7-0, beat the goat college football team and #1 ranked Alabama, beat in-state rival Mississippi State 31-17.
Or the year Bo Wallace and the Rebs choked in losses to LSU and Auburn. Then got destroyed by an Arkansas team that hadn't won an sec game in years until they beat LSU 17-0 the week before. Then got destroyed by an underrated TCU team?

At the time they lost to Arkansas the Hogs were possibly the hottest team in the SEC. No one expected a shut out but I don't think folks were tremendously surprised by Arkansas winning.
The Rebels bounced back with a solid win over Mississippi State and seemed to have righted the ship. The TCU game... was just one of those horrible games.
I'm no great fan of Ole Miss but even with the end of their season being a bit lackluster I'd still say they had a pretty good year.

A year where we overachieved. Last year was the first year with a full roster of scholarship players under Freeze (thanks Nutt). Also, our starters are SEC quality but we still need more recruiting classes to build up SEC depth.

Just like any good football season, the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.
A great roller coaster ride.

Go down as a banner year and one for the record books.

One memory.
First Saturday in October. Perfect Weather, Best Gameday ever, Katy Perry, 23-17, goalposts in the Square.

Hard to understand beating the 2 top SECW teams, one being Bama, and still losing 4 games.

Other than the TCU game they have nothing to hang their head about. Good season ole miss.

Ran into a buzzsaw with TCU..
LSU tough loss, tough environment that nite.
Auburn, Treadwell nightmare.
Arkansas, late November in Fayetteville, rainy day, not a good combo.

Well, it's slowly but surely changing to the season that the rest of the SEC couldn't stop discussing us, even after shitting the bed at the end of the season. The obsession is real.

The loss in Baton Rouge will always define their 2014 season. Crunch
