I think he was just using side-logic in response to another of your statements.

In 1989 there was a three way tie between Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee. You guys beat AU and lost to us, we beat you and lost to AU, and of course AU beat us and lost to you. No one else in the SEC beat any of those teams, so IC records were 6-1 with no tie breaker available (I believe Alabama went to the Sugar Bowl based on finishing the regular season ranked higher - even though AU beat us, they had an OOC loss that kept them lower than us even after the Iron Bowl).

Yeah, we beat Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl to finish 11-1
