Yes, close. We are all Southerners. We share a culture (while S LA/Cajun culture is unique, it has been watered down by decreased isolation and mass culture), similar passions, and living situations.

I don't disagree, but that is not something I attribute to anything unique to being a fan of LSU - but as tolerance and savvy by Chicken. They saw the opportunity, and made choices as businessmen, not as fans.

You could say the same thing about southern culture in general, but there is still a noticeable difference.

You couldn't have one without the other. My point is, another fan site that tried what Chicken did here would have failed...another fan base just wouldn't have gone along with that. They'd either complain, or leave. That didn't happen here.
