Pretty sure Missouri is in the SEC

KCMO is pretty baller, at least it seems that way when I drive in from Kansas. It's like a civilized utopia.

They're SINOs. Southern in name only.

Never mind. I was just trolling.

Ah you edited?
Don't back down. Trolling isn't always a bad thing if done well.

long term, living in Ashvhille would seem boring as hell
It depends on what you like. Personally, being in a "suburb" (but not really) of a city of its size is perfect for me. It isn't terribly far for me to visit very large cities for certain events, Asheville itself has a good bit going on, and I can enjoy the absolutely beautiful scenery.

Well the trolling was calling MO southern, but you're the only one who got offended. And I'm reading right now and not paying enough attention to carry it well like you did with the nuke thread.

Ok. I'm done with my book. Oklahoma is the best place in the south to get snow.

The big 10 has 14 teams, the big 12 has 10, Colorado/Utah are in the PAC 12, and Notre Dame is in the ACC
Conference names are now irrelevant

Thinking Chattanooga or maybe Ashville, NC. What says the OT?
Depends on how much snow you want. If you want just a dusting that typically disappears within a day, then Chattanooga would be to your liking. If you actually want the snow to be around for awhile so you can sled/ski then Chattanooga is not for you. This year has been an anomaly as far as snow goes there. Some years there won't be so much as a dusting.

It depends on how much snow you're looking to get.
Consistent Moderate snow: Parts of Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, and parts of NC.
Consistent Heavy snow: Parts of Kentucky & Virginia and the mountains in East TN and Western NC.
Pick you're favorite town in each region.

Ashville is a good choice. I would also nominate the area around Gatlinburg as well.

Not really. One good snow every 3-4 years is about the norm. The rest of the time they predict snow, which never comes, and cancel schools anyway.

Northwest Arkansas. Bentonville has lots of jobs and all kinds of awesome new stuff being built there. The Waltons are turning into a playground for the wealthy.
Fayetteville works, too.

I love Chattanooga, but it rarely gets snow.
Asheville, no doubt.
