I read through both threads today and his undee's were really in a bunch. It might take a diesel wrecker to pull his underwear out of his arse. Either way it's technically a title right? It's also national right? I'm as dumb as a box of rocks when it comes to wrestling.

Some of you wrestling afficionados correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that it is a national title. And it's a big deal. And it's prestigious. It is not recognized by the NCAA as a national championship. It is recognized as a national championship or title by the larger world of wrestling. I also believe 5th or someone said that there is a move towards the format of the National Duals to determine the NCAA national championship.
In my mind, the national duals make more sense when determining a team title. The tourney as it is now makes sense for determining national champions.
