That was my question, right off. All-time numbers are so ambiguous.

Combined conference records (adjusted):

1. Alabama (390-166-20)--0.69444
2. Missouri (16-8-0)--0.66667
3. Tennessee (327-192-19)--0.62546
4. Georgia Tech (115-70-9)--0.61598
5. Georgia (321-204-14)--0.60853
6. LSU (308-214-22)--0.58640
7. Florida (301-213-15)--0.58318
8. Auburn (302-235-18)--0.56036
9. Texas A&M (13-11-0)--0.54167
10. Mississippi (253-265-15)--0.48874
11. Arkansas (82-100-2)--0.45109
12. South Carolina (82-101-1)--0.44837
13. Tulane (69-114-13)--0.38520
14. Mississippi St. (181-348-13)--0.34594
15. Kentucky (158-365-12)--0.30654
16. Vanderbilt (131-397-18)--0.25641
17. Sewanee (0-37-0)--0.00000

What's interesting to me is the conference record of the opponents played in conference. It gives you the feel for who's playing better opponents:

Texas A&M (94-74-0)--0.55952
Auburn (1705-1463-88)--0.53716
Arkansas (674-609-5)--0.52523
LSU (1610-1489-80)--0.51903
Kentucky (1568-1500-88)--0.51077
Mississippi St. (1571-1521-101)--0.50783
Tennessee (1565-1532-88)--0.50518
Georgia Tech (478-480-67)--0.49902
Alabama (1618-1632-95)--0.49791
Florida (1509-1534-82)--0.49600
South Carolina (633-649-6)--0.49379
Vanderbilt (1531-1574-82)--0.49325
Missouri (81-87-0)--0.48214
Georgia (1483-1603-93)--0.48113
Sewanee (83-91-14)--0.47872
Tulane (456-502-67)--0.47756
Mississippi (1418-1613-90)--0.46876
