It's a give and take. Pitchers can generate more RPM due to less wind resistance, but less resistance also makes the tilt axis much more important to get good break. Basically, pitchers can still be just as effective, but it's much harder to be consistent. High end prospects will separate themselves more.

I was going to say I could see where control and trajectory could be an issue with grip. It'll be interesting to see how they adjust throughout the season and better yet whether any of this translates to more HRs when in the CWS.
