While Pinkel is a very good coach, I think you must have multiple conference championships at minimum. Gary earned one while at Toledo. Major bowl victories should be a prerequisite as well.

Mark Richt has a resume to get him in under the "good works" clause. This was the ultimate point for Gene Stallings and his work for The Rise Program for children with Down Syndrome. Yes, Stallings had a national title in 1992, but only one conference title (same season). His career winning percentage didn't meet the HoF minimum criteria, due to huis tenure at Texas A&M. Mark Richt certainly has the winning percentage and two conference titles to boot. His "good works" are well documented as well.
