Making $1m / year right now has to be pretty sweet for his retirement planning. I would have a smile on my face if I made that much.
$1m per conf win is one hell of a paycheck. If he wins 2 games this year (not likely), then his paycheck/win ratio is effectively halved. He is just being efficient.
post script: don't take me seriously...I'm just trying to find some humor in a gloomy season.
