I wanted to shoot myself when he put Frazier in that role in 2013 with absolutely no threat to throw.
10 plays, 10 rushes.
I think he saw enough in 2011 that he realized the kid just couldn't cut it.

I think we had all seen enough at that point
I don't like the wildcat unless your wildcat is a legitimate threat to throw.

quote:It is a decent short yardage formation, but I'd rather JJ run it off tackle for 3 yards and maintain some respect from the defense that he might throw.

I'm trying to find any passing statistics he might have had in high school, but can't. Only found a blurb about him playing it along with many other positions.

He's led teams to three state championship games in three seasons piling up more than 3,500 rushing yards and 60-plus touchdowns while also playing cornerback, kick returner, punt returner, quarterback, receiver and safety.

Should have played safety.

The Tigers plan to utilize the Wildcat formation more often than recent seasons.
Damn. I was hoping Gus lost that page in the playbook.

Same here. It seems almost every time we go to the wildcat it's a fricking negative play. Just let JJ run for short yardage. I saw the kid play in highschool it's not like he's fricking Chris Todd back there.
