Melvin Ray played baseball instead of going to Bama. I'm not sure I would consider that a flip. Calloway was a Bama commit for a year before he flipped to Auburn at the all star game three weeks before signing day. I would say Bama held on to him more than Bama flipped him.

quote:Alabama held on to him all of that time because Auburn was recruiting him as a linebacker just like Alabama. Auburn later started recruiting him as a running back (Rivals even changed his position), flipped him, forced Alabama to start recruiting him for the same and Alabama flipped him back.
