I didn't say that I didn't care where he ended up, just that I think it's unlikely that he'll be a Dawg. He's actively looking for one of the out of state schools to give him a reason to sign there, particularly UCLA, which we all saw was his first choice anyway.

Never mind that the remaining staff there deliberately withheld info that was crucial to his decision. More than the impact on Georgia's recruiting class, I find the nugget in the SI article fascinating that the LOI is totally unnecessary to the process if a kid really wanted to skip it. That's not a Smith-centric takeaway from the story.

Can you imagine the collective shitstorm that would ensue if the 2016 ESPN 300 opted to skip The LOI and opted for just the FA agreement?
