I just don't see Mauk making the big jump next year. While other QBs may need to just get some more experience under their belts, it seems like Mauk needs to change how he approaches the position. Mauk needs to learn how to stay in the pocket and when to leave the pocket. Some QBs will just never have great pocket awareness. Mauk makes 4, 5 bad passes in a row but then throws a great 50 yard bomb making many forget his bad ones.
I want Lock to put on some weight though. Even-though you look at QBs like Terry Bridgewater who are able to play at an elite level while being really skinny, I still think Lock needs to pack on some weight.

I think mauk will show a lot of improvement this year. I think last year he was a bit full of himself, worrying too much about being like Manziel and being a "Gunslinger."
This year I'm hoping he's focused on being a productive QB, and playing within himself and being responsible for developing young WR's. Also I think we have better OL play.
I have faith in MM.
