Maty improved as the season went on, but he's still inconsistent. He makes great throws at times. Watch the end of the Arkansas game. We don't win that without him dropping dimes all over the field in the second half, but he'll also make bad decisions and terribly inaccurate passes way too often.

That being said. He's the starter. There is no doubt, and there won't be any competition. There have been plenty of guys struggle in their first year a bit that go on and have great careers.

We really need a couple of playmakers to emerge in the WR corps.
